The 2010-2011 school year is upon us, and with it comes change and an overall sense of excitement at El Rodeo School. My name is David Hoffman, and I am honored and thrilled to be the new principal here at El Rodeo. I started my career in education as an elementary teacher and coordinator before spending three years serving as an administrator at Beverly Hills High School. I have spent the last four years serving as the principal of a California Distinguished School in Redondo Beach. The move back to Beverly Hills feels a bit like a homecoming. I look forward to sharing my experience, knowledge, and love of teaching and learning with the community of El Rodeo.
There is a great deal of promise and enthusiasm in the air, and I believe that together, the students, staff, parents, and local community will work collectively in creating an incredible learning environment that meets the needs of all our students.
One final note; I would like to publicly thank Pat Escalante for her years of service to the El Rodeo community, and for her help and support in making this transition as smooth and seamless as possible. I consider myself fortunate to be following in her footsteps.
I wish all of you a warm welcome to our website, and invite you to be an active part of the El Rodeo community.
